Frost on the way

Bluebells are above ground and the Irises are in new leaf. The weather is due to change tonight and we will have the first severe frost

Kestrel

I have been watching a Kestrel sitting on the hedge near Grandpa's tree. I think he was eyeing the bird table for visitors!

Crocuses

There are two crocuses on the hill about to flower. One is yellow, the other purple. A pheasant was in the garden this morning, The weather is very mild, I even feed the birds while in my pyjames and no coat. I hope 2012 will be a steaming hot year. Reminder - fix the pool!

Spring?

Today I noticed that th Daffodils had peeped above the ground, the yellow wall flowers in the rockery are flowering and when I drove through Newport the trees in the churchyard were in full pink blossom!
