I saw a pigeon and a wagtail having a bath in the water lying on the splash pool cover. There were two Gold Finches on the creeper outside the bedroom window this morning. I do hope they choose to stay and nest

The Last of Phil and Phyllis

These are the last photos of Phil and Phyllis. They has been missing for awhile although another pheasant and his lady friend have started frequenting the garden. We miss Phil standing on the hill crowing. He was such an endearing character.

There is a wind blowing today and it is really cold. All the cherry blossom is being blown off the tree and it is as if it was snowing. Yesterday I cleaned out the splash pool and it is now filling. I have had to put a cover on it as the cherry blossom keeps landing in the water. I hope that we have some warm weather soon so that we can use the pool.
