House Martins

Yesterday there were over 32 House Martins sitting on the telephone wire, today there are none about. I guess they have started their migration to warmer climes.

New Flower Bed

The path between the lounge and dining-room door has been neglected for years. Nobody uses it so have decided to turn it into a flower bed. I have been digging out the little stones which I will use on a path else where. I have grown Lavender from seed and have them ready in pots to go into the new bed. I also have bulbs that will make a wonderful display next Spring

Squirrel

Just seen a squirrel in the garden! I am lying on a sun lounger doing office work and a sweet squirrel hop past me, turned around looked at me, then went up into the pergola, came down an disappeared into the undergrowth.
