A White Garden

One of the evergreen Clematis growing up the Gazebo

There is a wind blowing today and it is really cold. All the cherry blossom is being blown off the tree and it is as if it was snowing. Yesterday I cleaned out the splash pool and it is now filling. I have had to put a cover on it as the cherry blossom keeps landing in the water. I hope that we have some warm weather soon so that we can use the pool.

A Visitor.

A parrot arrived on the piggery roof. He spent the afternoon going from feeder tray to the next.

There is a farm nearby which breeds and sells parrots, so I presume he made his break for freedom from there.

He was around first thing this morning and I have heard him in the trees during the day but have not seen him again. It has been pouring with rain all day so hemust be rather wet. I do so hope that he adopts our garden for the Summer!

Blossoms

I haven't heard Phil today. He usually visits the garden at least 3 times a day and today no sound of him. I really hope that a fox did not get him! The garden is full of blossom and at last the weather is warming up. I just had a T shirt on today, no jumper, fleecy or body warmer.

The Gazebo

Crowing!

Yesterday was a beautiful, warm, sunny Spring day. We had some wonderful friends from our Omani days visiting us. We were able to sit out on the deck, admire the fish in the pond from the companion seat under Grandpa's oak, and sit under the gazebo. I was so delighted with the evergreen Clematis that I planted near the gazebo that I bought a further 3 evergreen clematis and lookforward to seeing these climb and intertwine with the roses already growing over the gazebo. This morning Phil thought it a good idea to survey his kingdom from on top of the gazebo.

And even closer, good enough to eat!?
