Today I have been cutting the foliage away from the windows in preparation for the new windows which are being put in next week. I have been balancing on the pergola and pulling down the grape vine, Wisteria and Virginia creeper that have shot over the roof.
There was a wonderful bonfire on Sunday. All my hedge clippings and cuttings from the Summer, topped with the Chesterfield 3 piece suite created a very fierce bonfire, so hot the lines on my rotary drying line melted and I had to hose the oil tank down with water.
The weather is glorious, sunny and warm by day, but chilly by night.
